Hello, After some moderately heavy usage, MySQL crashed on me.
The problem seems to relate to the size of the innodb log file, alhtough I'm not currently using innodb files. [Still trying to debug client before exploring innodb vs myisam ]
I've gathered up all the evidence in a "tarball" and attached it.
This includes - (1) The .err file
(2) The my.cnf file
(3) Some directory listings that might be relevant
I hope I've sent all this to the correct place - if not apologies.
