If you're using Windows, you can use an application like urSQL (http://www.urbanresearch.com/ursql) for easy viewing, adding, editing, deleting, etc, or any of a number of available graphical clients...
You may also want to have a look around http://www.mysql.com and the list archives for several clients that do what you describe.
