You can access a mysql database within VS.Net through odbc. To do this you have install myodbc. You can get this from mysql website. After installing myodbc you have to create a new datasource. Then you can connect to mysql with the help of adodb object in vs.net. I have never tried to connect mysql within access. But I think so you can do this too through odbc. If you need I can send you samples codes too.
