myisamchk -R

Hi,
 
I need a hint how to use myisamchk
 
I use this syntax in a shell but it doesn't work 
 
myisamchk -R=ID \mysql\data\db\mytable.myi
 
ID is the index name I want to use to sort the table
 
I'm using mysql 4.0.13 on Win 2K server
