Hello All, I have compiled mysql-4.1.13 using the binary package these were my configure options ./configure --bindir=/usr/bin --libexecdir=/usr/lib --datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --mandir=/usr/share/man/man1/ make make install
/usr/bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables /usr/bin/mysql_convert_table_format databasename I am following the link below. http://www.mysql.com/documentation/mysql/bychapter/manual_Installing.html#Up grading-from-3.23 After the installtion when i execute mysql it still shows me older version how do i correct this?
