I recently installed mysql 4 from source. After compiling everything I am unable to start mysql. This is the error I get in the log when I try to start mysql.
030901 19:41:35 Fatal error: Can't open privilege tables: Can't find file: './mysql/host.frm' (errno: 13) I am trying to get this to run on a Red Hat 9 install of Linux.
