Hi All; First of all, I think this will probably be a question for Heikki.
If I remember correctly, InnoDB and the MySQL external locking flag are unrelated as InnoDB tables are unaffected by external locks. Now the question: is it possible for two MySQL servers to access the same tablespace in a shared disk cluster? If not, would this ever be on a to-do list or is it too much trouble to implement?
