Somebody knows what are the buffers that MySQL uses when creating indeces in InnoDB tables? I increased the sort buffer, the tmp_table_size, the buffer_pool, the buffer_log, the log_file but i didn't have performance increase... Anyone have this problem too? What buffers are used? I'm creating indeces in populated tables of course (16 and 11 million rows).
