Hi I need to get some data out of a table hosted for me on a webserver.
I'm thinking of using the command mysqldump to grab the data, though I'm confused as to how to structure the statement. Also I'd like to automate the process on a Windows PC, how would I do that? (My perfect solution would be to call only a few records out the table on the hosted db and insert them into a table on my local machine - I haven't got a clue how to do that also.)
