You have to use bind_param() to identify the parameter as an integer. Rudy Lippan, the author of DBD::mysql, had a message about it on the dbi-users list:Thanks Keith, that explains it... I do not like this new behaviour of DBD, though. I think it should be the other way around: let those who need quoting use bind_param()... But hell, whatever :-) Not a big problem (in my applications).
