Hi,
Can someone please tell me how to set up a linux mysql server to accept connections from remote machines.
I have tried creating users for all of the remote host, and creating users with host '%' and '*', everytime I try to connect using myodbc or mysqlcc, I get the error "host {host name} is not allowed to connect to this mysql server"
Did you restart/reload MySQL after adding the users?
