Subject: Re: MySQL and Crystal Reports?

I found their capabilities chart less than clear. A search of their web site didn't turn up anything that sounded directly related but there was a patch having to do with recognizing names correctly with MySQL and the C.R. Advanced Edition. Once I installed that patch the Standard Edition works fine with MySQL. Go figure!

Has anyone used Crystal Reports successfully with MySQL? I tried the ODBC driver but it was rejected with a message that the "Professional" version was needed.

The issue might be with Crystal Reports itself and nothing to do with MySQL. Are you using the Standard edition?
