I'm very new to MySql and I'm having problems inserting dates into my tables (via the Web using Coldfusion). The user can put the following in the field:
12/09/2003 But the data returned from the database is: 2012-09-20 03:00:00.0 So I'm a bit confused about what I need to do in the insert statement so the user can just add the date (without a time).
