Perhaps this question is not appropriate to ask here, pls point me to the right direction if I am posting to the wrong list..
I would like to hear from the people of this list, which of the below notation do you prefer more and perhaps also in what situation? And which one is the "official name"?
Name of what?
1) MySQL
Used when referring to the MySQL software as a whole or the company MySQL AB.
2) mysql
This is the name of the mysql client program.
3) mySQL 4) mySql
3 and 4 are not used any more. Though you may see 3 in older logos.
