Normally one would replicate from 1 master server, onto several slave servers. However, my situation is quite different, and I have found myself unable to figure out a way to solve it. I very much hope you can help me with this matter. All replies are appreciated.
In short, I want several master servers to replicate some of their databases onto just one slave server. The situation is like this:
- I have 10 production servers, named Masterserver1..10.
- I have 1 slave server, named Slaveserver1.
The problem is that (as far as I know) you can only configure one master server for each slave. But in my case, there are 10 master servers.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Am I not thinking creatively enough? Are there other solutions to this? As I said before, all replies are appreciated. Thank you very much for your time in advance :)
