What are you transferring this database from? Access, FoxPro? Intelligent Converters (convert-in.com) has some great tools for transferring databases, but you will need to copy the data yourself.
Have you downloaded the MySQL Control Center or MySQL Administrator? Both of these tools will enable you to see your tables, ergo solving your database.table issue. J.R.
