I just installed MySql 4.0.18 on a Mac OS/X Powerbook computer running Panther (Mac OS 10.3). When I try to start the mysqld_safe daemon, I get the following error:
{/usr/local/mysql/docs}% sudo mysqld_safe Password: Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/mysql/data 040221 00:35:27 mysqld ended
Any idea of what can be wrong. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
