Not to start a flame war, but just a question/suggestion... Do you specifically want a Mac (i.e. are you a Mac shop), or are you looking for inexpensive 64 bit?
If the latter applies, you might want to look at an AMD64 box running Linux (SuSE and Mandrake are two that come to mind as having 64 bit versions, I'm sure there are others, just haven't kept up to date in that area).
