Hi. I need some recommadations.
What is the optimal InnoDB datafile size? Is 75 * 2GB prefered over 1 * 1G:autoextend? The filesystem (ext3) has no problems handling the filesizes, so that should not be an issue. Of the 150GB is about 100GB BlOB's, would it have any impact on the overall speed of the database to store this data in the filesystem instead?
