Hi there, I just found that mysql 4.0.18 is doing binary logging. How can I turn this off? I outcommented the line in my.cnf and restarted the server, but it is still creating those binary loggs inside the data dir. I do not see a nead for this, plus I fear that it might fill up the file system, plus I think it is reducing performance.
