Can you run into problems when copying tables with foreign keys? I want to copy my Nations and States tables, making versions designed only to hold lengthy articles. I copied and coverted the States table successfully, but I'm running into problems with the Nations table.
I get an error message referring to foreign key constraints. When I try it again, phpMyAdmin tells me the table has already been created. When I refresh the page, there it is! But there's no data in it - even though I directed it to copy the structure AND data. Is there a way to copy just a certain number of fields? All I really need (I think) are the columns with the nation's names (so I know which row is which), the column with abbreviations (for joining) and a third (and new) column for pasting articles. Thanks. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Yahoo!
