Hello,
got this error when upgrading our MySQL:
rpm -Uvh MySQL-shared-4.0.20-0.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
file /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.12.0.0 from install of MySQL-shared-4.0.20-0 conflicts with file from package MySQL-shared-compat-4.0.18-0
file /usr/lib/libmysqlclient_r.so.12.0.0 from install of MySQL-shared-4.0.20-0 conflicts with file from package MySQL-shared-compat-4.0.18-0
MySQL upgraded to version 4.0.20 with no apparent problems so far, from 4.0.18 but was wondering if this could be a problem down the road or should we remove the old shared or shared-compact RPM's, then do the upgrade to the 4.0.20 RPM's ??
