MySQL under FreeBSD 5.x works way much better than under FreeBSD 4.x but still not at production level. In my experience it works fine on a single CPU box and with relatively small tables. If the tables grow really big (tens of Gigs) and/or in SMP mode (including HT), then FreeBSD's behaviour is unacceptable. It randomly crashes in random places. Tested on 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, etc. Only linuxthreads tested, no KSE. > Peter Zyumbilev -- For technical support contracts, goto https://order.mysql.com/?ref=ensita This email is sponsored by Ensita.net http://www.ensita.net/ __ ___ ___ ____ __ / |/ /_ __/ __/ __ \/ / Egor Egorov / /|_/ / // /\ \/ /_/ / /__ [EMAIL PROTECTED] /_/ /_/\_, /___/\___\_\___/ MySQL AB / Ensita.net <___/ www.mysql.com -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
