hello,
i'm building a php/mysql based system for reporters on the ground in afghanistan to file stories -- in english, pashto, and dari. will i have to do anything special when compiling mysql so that it supports the right character sets? are arabic character sets supported by default in 4.1? in earlier versions? and finally, is mysql 4.1 stable enough to use in a production environment, or is that ill-advised?
