Hi
I have mysql 3.22.14 binaries on solaris 2.6 installed (in a nonstandard
place: /opt/mysql instead of /usr/local).
Now I have problems to connect to the database server (running
./bin/mysqladmin version). I get the error message:
bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)'
How can I access to the server?
