  So far I tried:
Blacklisting my unused imon modules ( in case they conflict, but it makes no
difference)
Trying a whole lot of kernels; 3.5 and 3.8 for 12.04 LTS
(linux-image-generic-lts-quantal and raring).

- One kernel DID work, and that was linux-image-3.8.13-03081311-generic
- from the ubuntu mainline ppa. However, this kernel caused system
- instability.
-
- UPDATE: Running 3.12.0 now with no problems. This problem occured on
- 3.2, 3.5 and 3.8 kernel. (LTS 12.04 kernel versions)

UPDATE!: Still the same problem, even in 3.12.0

  So far I tried:
Blacklisting my unused imon modules ( in case they conflict, but it makes no
difference)
Trying a whole lot of kernels; 3.5 and 3.8 for 12.04 LTS
(linux-image-generic-lts-quantal and raring).

UPDATE!: Still the same problem, even in 3.12.0
