Public bug reported:

On my frontend-backend combo system mythfrontend starts before the real
network connection is available.

This results in the remote control port not being available unless
mythfrontend is manually restarted (required VNC or equivalent).

After a reboot the frontend should be available via a smartphone type
remote control.

There are some hackey workarounds available:
