"sudo service mythtv-backend status" mythtv-backend stop/waiting Well I have just come up with another issue that reared its ugly head again. I neglected to take notes on installing the driver "dvb-fe-nxt2004.fw" for my TV card during the original Trrusty install and can't for the life of me remember how I got that driver working. It's not showing up in dmesg and I have the driver in the proper folders. So for now that is a step that is going to have to place Myth on the backburner. As soon as I see nxt2004 showing up in the dmesg then I'll jump back on the Myth backend issue. These two issues are indirectly connected, but without the tunercard working there is no point to messing with the backend trying to get it to properly work.
