We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream believes this to be fixed in the latest version. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?
Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions. ** Changed in: mythbuntu Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mythbuntu Bug Team, which is subscribed to Mythbuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/693588 Title: lircd does not seem to honor repeat/delay/suppress_repeat settings Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Won't Fix Bug description: I have a Hauppauge 350 remote and a homebrew-type serial IR receiver from irblaster.info. Every button press is repeated regardless of repeat and delay settings in .lircrc ($HOME/.lirc/mythtv) or repeat and suppress_repeat in lircd.conf (/usr/share/lirc/extras/more_remotes/hauppauge/lircd.conf.hauppauge). If I set suppress_repeat in lircd.conf, then no button presses are registered. I don't know where exactly to file this bug, so I'm starting here. I also have sent an email to lirc-list, but have yet to get a response.
