Hi,
I wish to complete the Italian translation for Mythtv... Somebody can explain me the syntax of *.ts i18n files? What I have to do after translating the .ts file? And then how I can submit the translation to cvs?

The translation procedure is something like
$ cd mythtv-0.17/i18n $ lupdate translate.pro (to put any new texts into the .ts files)
Use Qt Linguist or Kbabel to translate the file and then do
$ lupdate -noobsolete translate.pro (to drop old texts and, if you used Kbabel to edit, replace spaces in the XML-layout with tabs).
$ lrelease translate.pro (to compile the .ts files into .qm files)
Then build Mythtv and check that the translation looks ok and then do
$ cvs diff -u mythfrontend_it.ts > mythfrontend_it.ts.patch $ gzip mythfrontend_it.ts.patch
and send mythfrontend_it.ts.patch.gz to the mailinglist with the keywords "[PATCH][i18n]" in the subject, for example "[PATCH][i18n] Italian translation".
