I think this is better solved with a PID override mechanism instead, like this:

That would be a more general fix and leave all the moral & legal problems with the user. I've been planning to implement this but haven't had the time yet. The hardest thing is coming up with a neat & efficient way of storing the override info in the db. ;-)
