But that shouldn't have caused any problem, perhaps it was
a fluke that it happened with the latest version? Can you
try repeating it? If it is repeatable, finding the check-in
that caused it might narrow in on the problem.

This has also happened to me once before (using 7063).
It did it again last night recording from DVB-T. I caught it in the act - no file generated, but the indication was that it was recording. (It was marked as currently recording in the tuner status, and in the recorded shows page.)

Both times that it has happened it's been recording from the same DVB channel/tuner. As John pointed out, there was no indication in the log that anything was amiss. Signal quality on my DVB card is a little low - I get the odd bit pixellation sometimes. I don't *seem* to have any trouble changing channels and getting a lock in LiveTV. I've bumped my system up to the latest SVN, so I'll keep an eye on it and see if it recurs.
