[8041] appearantly addresses an issue with teletext but causes undesirable
behavior when using close caption. Pressing "T" in the past would print an
OSD informational message "CC1". Pressing "T" again printed "CC off".
After [8041] pressing "T" once prints "CC: ?" in the font and posititon
for entering a channel number and closed captions are not turned on. A
second press prints the informational message "CC1" and captioning is
active.
Is that because of [7689] ( http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/changeset/7689
)? By my reading, the first time you press TOGGLECC, it's expecting you
to type a number (i.e. 1 for CC1--allowing users with smart channel
change to select teletext (or, in this case CC) pages. I haven't tried
it--I've been 1000 miles from my Myth box since PVR-x50 VBI support was
added--so I may be way off base.
