I have this issue with XvMC and recent svns, but I don't have hdtv. Sometimes an MPEG2 stream will work okay, other times it will have intermittent crackly audio and/or hang after a few seconds of display. With the standard decoder there is no problem. (I'm using NVidia driver 7667 on a GeForce 4 MX).
