well is it possable to make a DVD thats playable in DVD players with video thats mpeg4 or RTjepg? thats bascily my goal.

Be warned, though - exporting from your non-mpeg recording to mpeg2
will take a while. On the order of 4 hrs per 1 hr recording.

As for making DVDs, I'd recommend DVDStyler for simple stuff. You
could also try 'Q' DVD Author.
