I see that no one has picked up this thread, which is unfortunate,
since I have the same problem. I know that doesn't help you out, but
hopefully bringing attention to it will garner some interest.
The only mention I've found of this problem is this post on the IVTV list:

The author doesn't seem to have an answer, but it looks like he has
isolated the source of the problem. That message also did not get any
replies. Maybe you could email the author to see if he ever found a
solution.
If you end up solving it, please post to the list to let the rest of us know!
