Any tips on selecting a universal remote? I'm just getting started and have just looked at the $10 ones at Circuit City (which looked like junk).

Without question: UEI One for all remotes. PC programmable, very easy to setup,
very versatile. I have the 8810W, available at Walmart for $17, and even is backlighted.
Pretty hard to beat, although a previous Jensen remote came close.
