I have a shuttle but don't use it for myth. I need a system that has room for 2 tv tuners so I can record one thing and watch another. As far as the sound issue goes....how hot is the system running and what setting is the fan on in the bios. My system is near quiet except for when things start to get too hot and then the fan ramps up.
