Two channels being lesser quality out of many is more likely to be a result of the quality of the signal going into the card, although I suppose it could be a marginally defective card, but that seems unlikely.

I'd put a tv in place of your card and see what you get. Also I suggest if you can get to the point of where your cable comes in, before its split off to multiple(?) tv's you try to connect that to your card and see what the picture quality is.

If you get a good picture then you need to improve something in your distribution setup. If you put the ends on the coaxial cables yourself you should make sure to use RG-6 cable with a high quality tool and ends. It is also best, if you can do it, to have a single splitter where the signal comes in to all your rooms. An amplifier can be added, if its really needed, before that splitter.

You may also need some 3db pads with the shortest cable runs if the lengths vary by I'm guessing a 100 feet or so. (I think 3db is the smallest attenuator commonly available.) In most cases thoug the cable signal strength is probably strong enough to be split several times and work just fine. Then again I haven't had cable in several years, preferring satellite, so I could be off a little.

One final thing to consider is your cable company may offer other products or services that you do not subscribe to. Its possible they have an analog filter connected someplace to remove that programming from your cable that is weakening the signal on those two channels. Of course then you would usually see it on all tv's. Its of course also possible that the company has problems receiving those channels and thus your picture will only be as good as theirs..

Hi, I am running a PVR-350 on FC3. Everything works fine except that

Is this cause for concern.

The only minor issue I am experiencing is that my channels 69 & 70 are
poor quality (snowy) but the rest of the 100 channels are great. I am
NTSC on Charter cable.
