You really shouldn't need to edit dvb channels. It's all done auto-

Thanks for your help! It makes more sense now.

Some channels found in the scan do not seem to work. For instance, the teletext channels found in the scan. But there is also one other channel, which I have no clue of what it is, which doesn't work.

ScanWiz should only be picking up tv channels.

When I run mythtv and come to one of these channels, the program stops responding and I need to kill the frontend.

So, I would like to delete those channels from the list. But I haven't found a way in the setup program to do so. So I went't looking in the database and saw dvb_channel was empty.

Mark it as invisible ? Give it a very high channel number ? (dvb_channel
and dvb_pids are no longer used)

Failing that, can you send a backend log of changing channel to this
channel.

The errormessage I get when switching to the "text" channel from the backend is

2005-02-07 16:35:26.882 DVB#0 Data read from DMX - This is for debugging with tr ansform.c

and the last message keeps continuing every second. The frontend stops responding completely.

I tried not giving the channel a number, and giving it a very high number, but without succes. Is there another way disabling the channel?

Berend.
