I'm not using a PVR-350 for TV output (although I have
in the past), but if you can put the SBLive in the PC,
I would say go for it.

Myself, since I have upgraded to FC3 (and the latest
kernel), I have had nothing but problems getting sound
out of two different motherboards (both SiS chipsets,
one the 748, the other a 755) with onboard sound using
the intel8x0 driver. I just couldn't figure out which
mixers to enable with alsamixer, whereas in the past,
with FC2, and earlier kernels, I had absolutely no
problems at all.

I suspect that the intel8x0 driver keeps changing
because of the various hardware using that driver
(Intel, Realtek, and others), and they keep playing
around with the hardware (different channel support
based on what is plugged where, etc.), and I've just
been too lazy to figure out what is what.

I found that the SBLive just made things a lot easier
on me.
