It takes bloody forever to get to recorded programs, though CPU usage is negligible, there's plenty of RAM, and everything else accesses just fine.
You sure it's not just mythweb regenerating preview thumbnails? I added code last night to get it to renew them if the recording has been marked as changed by the backend.
other than that, dunno. plenty fast for me.
