This adapter converts DVI-I (analog/digital) or DVI-A (analog) to VGA. It does not convert DVI-D (digital) to VGA. The DVI input on your display will be digital only (or DVI-D). Some good info on DVI here: http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html Mike.
