I am surprised to hear about all these horror stories of s-video
being so bad. I've done s-video on an MX440 and an FX5200
plus, both with excellent results. The s-video out on my
mediamvp is pretty good, but there is definitely a difference
between that and my other two frontends.

I tried knoppmyth and that worked like a charm as well.
I've pretty much been able to test configurations by just
booting up a machine with knoppmyth and connecting
to my backend to verify the components work, and look
good as well.

Am I just lucky?

Paul
