what type of receiver do I need for these channels?
I have also looked at those in the past. You will need a DVB-S card to
receive the FTA (free-to-air) channels. However, most of the FTA DVB
channels in the U.S. are not on Ku band so you will need a 6' or larger
dish to receive them.
