I have had this with .16  it seems the backend process (for me anyway) was 
in a state.. i stop mythbackend restart mythbackend and they deletions can 
once again function.

I go to the recording plan, select the recording (it is currently
running, i think), I press enter, select "delete" and press enter again.
then it brings me back to recording plan and the recording is still
there (so NOT deleted). The "delete" list does not contain my recording.
