Hello MythTVers, basics: Fedora Core 2.6.10-1.766_FC3smp P4/3.0 Ghz/Intel D915PBL motherboard Hauppauge 350 eVGA nvidia MX 4000 video card
I've started a FC3 install using Jarod's HOWTO. Was doing fine except for audio, but got a test pattern output on my TV when I loaded it with the SAA7127 module. When I tried to capture video, I got the following error mesage: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mythtv]# mplayer -vo xv /tmp/test_cap.mpg MPlayer 1.0pre6-3.4.2 (C) 2000-2004 MPlayer Team CPU: Intel Pentium 4/Xeon/Celeron Northwood (Family: 8, Stepping: 4) Detected cache-line size is 64 bytes CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1 Opening joystick device /dev/input/js0 Can't open joystick device /dev/input/js0 : No such file or directory Can't init input joystick Setting up LIRC support... mplayer: could not connect to socket mplayer: No such file or directory Failed to open LIRC support.
