Hello All, I'm looking into the option of setting up a Myth server but before I invest the money in it, I've got a few questions that I hope you can help me with.
First of all, I noticed that several people in the list are asking about shortening the time it takes to change channels. Is this a normal thing (ie does it always take 1-2 seconds between each channel change)? Secondly I was hoping that somebody could tell evaluate my hardware selections. Does anybody have a similar setup? Backend: CPU: Celeron 566 (100Mhz) RAM: 512MB SDRam HDD: 80GB HDD -Will be upgraded in the near future -Only running at ATA66 - is this a problem?
