I've got a problem with the transcoding portion of Myth, with the following rather unhelpful entry in the log file :-
2005-02-23 23:46:17.521 Transcoding from /video/recordings/1033_20050223210000_20050223220000.nuv to /video/recordings/1033_20050223210000_20050223220000.nuv.tmp 2005-02-23 23:46:18.043 Unknown video codec: 2005-02-23 23:46:18.045 Transcoding /video/recordings/1033_20050223210000_20050223220000.nuv failed 2005-02-23 23:46:18.139 Deleting /video/recordings/1033_20050223210000_20050223220000.nuv.tmp Naturally I've read the mythtv guide but it doesn't really tell me anything about the inner workings of it, or how to manually diagnose transcode problems. I'm happy to try and figure something out myself but some pointers would be helpful ;] anyone any suggestions/ideas? It's 0.17 on Fedora Core 3, FWIW. Video streams will be raw DVB-T (MPEG2) from a Hauppauge Nova-T card, if that matters. Cheers, Dan Howell Birmingham UK
