While I would recommend usb 2 as well, most people do mp4 of SDTV
well under 3 megabits, which should work in usb 1.1.   In fact even with mp2
most people don't go  over about 6 megabits, though that is pushing it
as a sustained rate even though in theory usb 1 is 12 megabits.
